Describe your look: Classic with an eclectic twist.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Clothes that are too tight. Be honest with yourself: if you have gained a few pounds, oh well; keep the outfit in the closet until you have gotten back on track.
What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? My alpaca wool winter coats. They have the best fabric ever; as soft and as lightweight as cashmere, but the wind does not break through it. It is my secret to surviving and thriving in Chicago winters.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? Great diamond earrings. I can go from jogging to jeans to a black tie affair and never have to change them. I like to keep it simple.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? I wore a white sundress in the dead of the winter. If you are in Miami and it is 90 degrees, it’s got to be ok to bend the rules a bit, right?
Where are your favorite places to shop? My schedule is hectic. I tend to buy a lot online now, like on Neiman Marcus Last Call. I enjoy well-made clothes, I just don’t buy things full-price!
What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? A healthy, positive outlook on life and a great smile.
