William R. Carter, Private Client Senior Home Lending Advisor

Chase, NMLS #233481

Educated and passionate about lending, William R. Carter is on a mission to match every client with loan terms that best suit their financial needs and lifestyle. Recipient of Chase’s 2024 National Achiever award, he has helped clients realize the American dream for 19 years.

Carter’s empathetic nature creates sincere connections with all parties involved in the transaction process, ensuring it flows seamlessly. His natural ability to solve problems, listen and think critically continues to earn him repeat and referral business. Whether clients need a Jumbo, VA or FHA loan, or are shopping for their first home, move-up, luxury, vacation or investment property, he makes the financials easy to understand and adds humor to the mix. Carter explains their options to them, answers any questions they may have, and keeps them informed the entire time. Most of all, he wants to make sure that each client has a positive experience with home lending.

“During the loan process, I’m communicative and hardworking, removing as many tasks as possible from our clients’ plates,” he says. “I’ve worked in the same role for several banks and brokers, gaining extensive experience that helps customers feel informed, at ease and knowledgeable about their loan process. It’s something competitors may not be able to easily offer.”

Carter builds rapport with clients, is comfortable handling any loan scenario and interacting with all personality types. His take-charge role as team leader has helped him become a great listener and better collaborator with every vendor involved in the home purchase process.

When he’s not matching clients with home loans, he loves spending time with his family, traveling the world to experience other cultures and watching his favorite sports team, the Chicago Bears. Carter also volunteers as a mentor to underserved children at Breakthrough Family Plex in Chicago.
