Few high-school freshmen are locked in on their future careers, but Tyler Meyer was. With a chance opportunity to intern for a husband-and-wife real estate team, Meyer did office work and mail-outs at age 14. He was instantly hooked on the idea of changing clients’ lives through real estate and knew it was the perfect career for him. He earned his license at just 18 years of age.

The fourth-generation Walworth County resident made it his goal to discover every lake community in the county when he started. “Every weekend I would tour a new area on my own and take note of how many homes the association had, whether it was lake frontage, a slip or just a buoy,” Meyer remembers. “It helped me become an expert in our market.”

Today, he specializes in luxury lakefront properties, relocation clients, estates and golf course communities in Walworth and Kenosha counties and as far north as Madison and Milwaukee. He’s experienced in single-family, investment and commercial sales, and is on track to close over 50 families in 2024. Topping his list of accolades are a spot on Realtor Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list in 2018, 11 years in Shorewest’s President’s Club and inclusion by Milwaukee Real Producers as one of its area’s top agents in 2022.

For Meyer, leading with honesty and integrity is the only way to live and work, and it’s the reason 80% of his clients are repeat customers. His keen responsiveness is another key to his success. “Our clients are paying us thousands of dollars to represent them,” he says. “They shouldn’t have to hunt us down.”

A committed disaster relief team volunteer, Meyer also makes time to travel for pleasure. He spends as much time on the lake as he can.
