Ana Munoz is on a mission to positively impact the lives of other people, and each day on the job, she has an opportunity to achieve it.
Munoz, a senior home lending advisor with JPMorganChase, decided to pursue a career in lending due to her own journey to homeownership. Pregnant with her first child at 17, she was determined to buy a home, to create a safe haven and provide a secure future for her child. But she had no idea where to start. “I turned to the Internet and every resource I could find to learn about the process,” Munoz says. “That was 12 years ago, and while it’s much easier now, the drive I felt then was transformative. I became so determined to achieve my goal that I decided to work in finance, aspiring to be a resource for others, just as I had sought out.”
She began as a teller and, with support from her co-workers, worked her way up to lending. Today she specializes in VA, FHA and Jumbo loans.
“Understanding that we are all human, I approach each interaction as more than just a transaction; it’s fostering meaningful connections and trust,” she says. Her desire to achieve more for herself, her future family and members of the community sets her apart from the competition.
Munoz, who is bilingual, successfully manages multiple roles with confidence and efficiency. She serves on the board of Adelante, a business resource group at Chase; delivers educational workshops; and mentors two young women. In 2025, she will be joining the NAHREP Milwaukee Chapter Board as its membership director. A life-long learner, she is constantly updating her skills and stays on top of industry trends to give clients the competitive advantage they deserve.
