In the industry for four years, Madden is licensed in 13 states, successfully converting renters into buyers purchasing their homes in the city. Growing up in Evanston, he has fond memories of going downtown for Cubs games with friends, dinners with family and fun summer days on the lakefront. “In my opinion, Chicago is the best city in the world,” he says. “I am truly happy when I can help people achieve their dream of owning a home here.”
Proper Rate awarded Madden the inaugural Rising Star award in 2023 after he doubled his volume in a year. He credits his success to his mentor Mike Nielsen, who, by example, showed him what a successful loan officer looks like every single day. Recognized as being extremely proactive and having an excellent communication style, he believes in keeping his clients informed throughout the entire process. “I love educating first-time homebuyers so they understand the process from start to finish and have no doubts they are making the best decisions for themselves and their families.” One way he accomplishes this is by leveraging his Instagram page @WillMaddenMortgages with an FAQ Friday segment, resulting in a strong following that generates leads.
An avid drummer, Madden performs recreationally with his brothers and friends and played at Phyllis’ Musical Inn in Wicker Park in February. He also enjoys playing lacrosse and travels the country competing in tournaments.
