The current year has been a big one for Rose Dante. Not only did she reach her goal of being named among the Baird & Warner Top 200 Agents for her office by closed volume, but she also added a Michigan real estate license to her arsenal. Now serving Northwest Chicago and Southwest Michigan, this 15-year industry veteran is flying high, having built a business that enjoys frequent referrals and repeat business.
She has come a long way since 2008, when, having been a financial officer for a large home improvement company for 17 years, she found herself working for a company that was about to go under. She pivoted to a real estate career, using her knowledge of the construction and mortgage industries to guide her clients. “While others were leaving the industry in droves, I just focused and worked hard to build my business,” Dante recalls. “Fifteen years later, I have weathered many storms and can’t imagine doing anything else for a living.”
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dante values listening to her clients. They recognize her effort and describe her as an excellent communicator who goes above and beyond to help them with their specific needs, whether it’s referring buyers to a loan officer or sellers to a stager and other professionals. Dante is Military on the Move certified and holds an additional First Responders certification. (That program enables her to contribute a portion of her commission to those dedicated individuals.)
In 2023 when business was tough for most, Dante focused on building relationships. “I entered the year being very intentional about my business, hosting events for my clients and staying in active communication with them and my referral sources, and it has paid off,” she shares. “When I asked my latest listing who referred her to me, she said, ‘Rose, who didn’t? I asked my friends at work, and five people said your name.’ That made me so happy to hear.”
