Julie Goodyear, Real Estate Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

“Experience always matters,” shares Julie Goodyear, a second-generation Realtor who has served buyers, sellers and investors in the western suburbs of Chicago for over 26 years. Goodyear grew up watching her parents run a successful business based on genuine relationships forged and cultivated with care. “My parents felt strongly that your life’s activities and your business should be based on integrity, respect for people and valuing others,” she explains. These values inspired the @properties real estate broker and she’s applied them to her own business practices.

The mother of four raised her family in Geneva and has lived there since 1999. Her vast and personal knowledge helps her advise clients about living in the western suburbs. “I’ve lived it, so I know it,” she explains. She’s also quick to connect clients with her trusted network of contractors, inspectors, lenders and attorneys as needed. Clients appreciate Goodyear’s expertise and positive attitude. She’s known for being a good listener who’s perceptive about her clients’ hopes and fears and works hard to make their experience as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Goodyear ranks consistently in the top five percent of brokers in Kane County and was recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Real Estate Agents for Exceptional and Outstanding Customer Service in 2021 by the American Institute of Real Estate Agents. “What sets me apart is my lifelong cultivation of genuine and caring relationships with others,” she explains. “I love what I do.” Although she’s made television appearances and worked with celebrities, Goodyear says these special experiences weren’t the high points of her career. “For me it’s the times I brightened the lives of others and helped my clients achieve their goals,” she shares. In her free time, Goodyear can be found volunteering. Previously, she has volunteered with the Junior League and has served on the board of the Evanston Arts Center. She currently volunteers with the Geneva Garden Club and Habitat for Humanity (her family donated the Stroop House in her hometown in Indiana). She enjoys visiting her children or walking her beloved goldendoodle, Stella.
