Julia Hillman, Real Estate Agent

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Being a real estate agent has brought Julia Hillman a multitude of great experiences and relationships. She began working with a homebuilder in the early 1980s and spent eight years as a vice president and administrator in the international food packaging sector before returning to real estate in 2018. “I feel that this business chose me,” she says.

Hillman works with a diverse client base primarily in Walworth County and lake areas outside the county. A certified Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist, she brings attention to detail and many years of experience in both the field and the board room to every interaction. “There is an art to negotiations,” she remarks. “It involves communication, logic and a passionate desire to obtain the wants and needs of my clients.” Her savvy style does not go unnoticed, as her clients know her for being on top of her game, compassionate and responsive, as well as a trusted advisor and friend.

Recognized by her firm and for outstanding achievement over the past three years, Hillman also proudly earned her firm’s Road to Rolex accolade in 2022. “I feel that after successfully raising my two children, being self-employed all my adult life and being there for every step of my husband’s cancer treatments, I’ve always been the ‘fixer,’” she shares. “The Rolex award was a huge accomplishment in validating my personal journey, hard work and ethics.”

Naturally artistic, Hillman has operated a commissioned art business since her earliest professional years. She hopes eventually to focus more on unique talents such as this. Her heart lies with Twin Oaks Homeless Shelter, which provides an amazing service to those in need in Walworth County. She also has served as a mentor for the past 2 ½ years, helping others on their path to success.
