Lake life enthusiast Jetta Grano says one of the best parts of being a Realtor is taking her boat out on the lake and seeing all the different houses she’s helped her clients obtain. “There is a magic that happens at the lake, and it is so hard to put into words,” she says. “It’s more of a feeling and a state of mind.”
Grano’s grandparents purchased their home on Delavan Lake the year she was born, so she’s literally been on the lake her entire life. “That home was in our family for nearly 40 years and allowed four generations of our family to gather and enjoy all that lake life offers,” she remembers. “Shortly after the sale of that home, my husband and I purchased a Delavan lakefront home about 20 doors down to continue our family tradition of lake life.”
Grano says her favorite part of her work is helping families realize their dreams of living on the lake: “I always say, ‘No one ever regrets buying a lake house,’” she shares. “If anything, my clients come back and say, ‘I can’t believe we didn’t do this sooner!’”
Building relationships is what makes Grano tick. She says she truly enjoys the opportunity to get to know potential clients and strives to ensure they feel fully supported whether they are buying or selling. “I will do whatever it takes to ensure that the investment clients are making in both their personal and financial future goes smoothly,” the industry veteran insists.
For buyers, Grano loves the idea of helping them create an ideal holiday that never has to end. For sellers, she leverages Sotheby International Realty’s global reach to put properties in front of not only the Chicagoland buying market, but also buyers worldwide.
