When her client closed on a $9.3 million condominium in January, Jennifer Mills Klatt hit two milestones at once: She sold the highest-priced residential property in Chicago year-to-date AND of her over-35-year career .

A handshake kind of girl, prudent about disclosure and transparent with details, she’s focused, knowledgeable and the consummate professional. “My father worked in real estate, so I grew up hanging out at open houses for new-construction subdivisions in the western suburbs,” says Mills Klatt, a Realtor and leader of The Home Discovery Team, Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. “I landed my first leasing agent position at age 19 after one year of college and knew it was meant to be.”

With a reputation for getting deals done, Mills Klatt has maintained top-producer status for the past 25 years. She sets expectations straight without any drama and delivers results as smoothly as possible. Having lived in many neighborhoods throughout her more than three decades as a Chicago resident, she understands the nuances of each area and what makes them great places to live.

Her top-producing team is made up of four brokers who assist buyers, sellers and investors, from first-time to those in upper-end markets, in Chicago, on the North Shore and in western suburbs. A member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Mills Klatt served as head chair of the 2023 CAR Sales Awards and emceed the event at the Byline Bank Argon Ballroom. She volunteers for St. Josaphat Parish and donates to several homeless shelters. A huge tennis fan and player, she competes on a few teams and loves to challenge herself to win.
