As the lead of The Green Group, Lauren Green works with all clients, including sellers, buyers, renters, landlords and commercial clients. Being a real estate investor and owning over 100 rental properties with her husband allows Green to share her knowledge and experience with investor clients, as well. She has a wide market area comprising a radius of approximately 60 miles around Chicago, and she specializes in all product types, including single-family homes, condos, co-ops and land.
With a background in corporate health care sales, Green worked her way up to a director-level position, but she wasn’t fulfilled. With encouragement from family and friends, she made a career shift and has never looked back.
Her vast knowledge of the area comes from her experience living all over Chicago and the suburbs, which has allowed her to become an expert in many areas. She’s also an active user of technology to help her business, with a website and social media presence on Instagram. She likes to post videos and facts about real estate and is known for the “key toss,” where she tosses keys to her clients when they close on their home purchase.
Green is consistently described by her clients as detailed, easy to communicate with and always having their best interests in mind. One client called her the “sweetest shark,” which means she’s tough, gets the job done and is courteous throughout the entire process. In 2021 and 2022, she won the Dream Town Real Estate Top Performer award, and in 2022, she snagged the Chicago Association of Realtors’ Top Producing Team spot.
Sporting a business style that’s process-driven, Green focuses on making the experience simple and stress-free for her clients. She provides them with referrals to all the different providers they’ll work with throughout the transaction, such as lenders, attorneys, inspectors and insurance agents. With her extensive background in negotiation from her past career, Green has a unique perspective on negotiating great deals for her clients, even in a competitive market.
