Rounding out her eighth year in real estate and coming up on her third year with COMPASS, Danielle Klausing feels like she has seen it all. She’s navigated through buyer’s markets, seller’s markets and markets that just don’t make sense. These last few years have been an emotional roller coaster, especially with low inventory and constant multiple offers to contend with, as Klausing works primarily with first-time buyers. Yet she’s perfected her buyer consultation, which helps bring clients a lot of confidence and clarity. She believes that when making the biggest financial decision of your life, you cannot overprepare.
As a solo agent, Klausing wants to be there every step of the way so that her clients feel comfortable and never neglected. If a property hits the market and her clients want to see it, she wants to get them in as soon as possible so they stand a chance of landing the opportunity to submit a competitive offer. Whether it’s her mother or a stranger, she wants what’s best for the person, and she builds her business on curating relationships, not just closing transactions. Every client Klausing has worked with has appreciated her communication skills and ability to always make them feel like they are her top priority.
No stranger to living in her car, Klausing was born and raised in the northwestern suburbs but now has lived on the North Side of Chicago for a handful of years, enabling her to work with buyers and sellers from all over. This has come in handy over the last few years as buyers have expanded their search radius due to a lack of inventory.
Having built her business by working with the people she knows and loves, Klausing has prompted an overwhelming response in referrals and repeat clients. “Working with people who want to work with me because they know and trust my approach makes my heart happy,” she says. She looks forward to the future of real estate and plans to continue working with buyers, sellers and investors for as long as she’s able to.
