Starting out as a teller at a local credit union in 2014, Ana Munoz, home lending specialist at Chase Bank, began her journey into the lending business hoping to educate and advise members of the community and their financial needs. From reviewing individual credit reports to becoming a top five producer within the credit union, she’s happy to say she changed the lives of those around her. “I enjoyed listening to the successful stories of how my peers changed the lives of others,” she says. “I was determined to share the same stories of my own, and now I do.”
Originally joining the lending industry through a connection with a friend in the field, Munoz has learned that hard work and professional connections are the key to the success of herself and her clients. “I picked up a lot of skills from the graphic design industry that carried over,” she says. “It gives me a creative perspective that allows me to see things others don’t and help make sure buyers are aware of all the options they have.”
Always giving updates and informing her clients, Munoz dedicates her successful career to her ability to communicate with her clients throughout the entire process. “They appreciate the way I explain the homebuying process and make it as enjoyable and stress-free of a memory for them as possible,” she says.
Recently, Munoz has climbed the rankings of her business and reached the No. 2 spot in terms of production, customer experience and quality, and has a goal to reach the No. 1 spot by the end of the year. She is also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the Hispanic Round Table.
