Alison Wertheimer, Realtor

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

With an almost two decades-long career specializing in Fort Sheridan, Chicago’s North Shore and the city of Chicago, Alison Wertheimer works with everyone from first-time buyers to luxury sellers and loves to serve as a sounding board for her clients.

Wertheimer moved with her husband from the city to the northern suburb of Highwood to raise their two children. They immediately fell in love with the picturesque Fort Sheridan neighborhood and Highwood community. Highwood offers a small-town feel with bustling neighborhood restaurants. Wertheimer and her family enjoy summer walks with their dog to the lake and into town for the weekly farmer’s market. In her free time, she plays tennis and golf, and cheers on her kids at their sports activities.

Wertheimer’s clients will tell you she’s calm and easy to work with, has a keen attention to detail and endless knowledge about the Chicago market. She’s one of the few agents that navigates the real estate industry solo but notes that she has the help of the amazing company staff at @properties Christie’s International Real Estate who help behind the scenes.

Within the past year, Wertheimer achieved @properties’ Road to Rolex award, an honor given to agents who close over $10 million in sales. She’s also received a number of achievement awards over her 19-year career, most recently the 2021 Outstanding Achievement Award for closing $10 to $20 million. She also earned the 2021 Outstanding Sales Achievement Award from the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Exceeding her clients’ expectations is just part of the job for Wertheimer. “Communication is key,” she says. “I have almost 20 years in this industry and I can offer my clients a lot of valuable insight.”
