The North Shore suburb of Winnetka is the place where Susan Davis, a real estate broker in @properties’ Winnetka office, has made her home and career for 21 years. With a deep involvement in her community, schools and clubs, along with a tight social circle of friends, Davis finds her 12 years in real estate have given her the opportunity to give back and serve the community she loves.

“I love homes, and I’m a huge ‘nester’ who is always decorating,” Davis says of the elements of her personality that paved the way to real estate. “I always wanted to be in this business but also wanted to raise my kids before I started.” After a personal tragedy when her children were in middle school, she took the jump into real estate and put her heart and soul into it. With a background in national radio sales and negotiations, she was uniquely qualified to rock million-dollar deals on a daily or weekly basis. Today, her clients say she brings a comfortable presence, honesty and deep knowledge to their transactions with her.

“My clients know that I’m very detail oriented,” Davis says. “I’ve been told that I give great advice and insight, and that I’m their voice of reason in tense situations or negotiations.” she has managed to net awards from the companies she’s worked for every year since she began her career. “I’ve managed to establish great working relationships, and I believe in honesty, integrity and transparency,” she explains of the bedrock of her business. “I believe it has paid off.”

With a large referral base, her repeat clients’ trust and her signature detailed process for each transaction, Davis is on an upward trajectory — the sky is the limit.
