Taking the time to build relationships and not being a “one and done” broker has taken Aaron Share far in his career. “I take the time to make sure clients are happy and making a sound decision,” says Share, president of Share Team at Compass Real Estate. “I earn my clients’ trust, which has gone a long way with referrals.”

While Illinois was shut down last March and April, business was up and running by mid-May and Share was ready to sprint. He had one of his best years yet, with more than $38 million in sales. He was recognized as one of Crain’s 2021 Most Notable Real Estate Brokers and is a Top 1% Producer with the Chicago Association of Realtors.

In his previous role as senior vice president of sales at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Share co-led the Home Discovery Team as the city to North Shore specialist with an emphasis on the Glenview area. He was ranked JSIR’s No. 1 broker in Glenview and was among the Top 5 in sales overall for two consecutive years in Glenview and Golf. Share works with buyers, sellers and investors, from first-time to luxury segments. He is a strong believer in preparation. Even if a buyer or seller is a year away from making a decision, he takes the time to advise and educate them as much as possible.

Share and his family have lived in Glenview for the past eight years, giving him the opportunity to become heavily involved in the community. He is a board member of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, co-chair of Glenview’s Young Professional Network and a sponsor of several community organizations. In his spare time, Share enjoys gardening in his backyard, playing on a local softball team and hunting for rare bourbons to add to his collection.
