Throughout her 23 years in real estate, Maria Gracik has helped clients navigate tough times, from the post-9/11 market to the 2008 financial crisis and now the COVID-19 pandemic. “My strongest relationships were built through tough times like these,” says Gracik, a real estate professional with @properties. “With over 1,000 career transactions, I bring in-depth experience and knowledge to all of my clients.”
A proud recipient of the @properties Road to Rolex award, Gracik began her career in 1997, after which she quickly rose to the top due to the confidence, knowledge and excitement she brought to every transaction. Twelve years into her career, she co-founded one of the top real estate teams in DuPage County, where she proudly mentored several agents from 2009 to 2019 who went on to achieve their own success. In 2019, she returned to solely serving buyers and sellers. “The exceptional tools, support and resources provided by @properties enable me to focus 100% of my time on clients,” she says.
Gracik assists builders, first-time to luxury buyers and sellers, and empty nesters in Elmhurst, La Grange, Lombard, Downers Grove, Palos Heights, Naperville, Villa Park, Western Springs and Woodridge, as well as the West Loop. She is a residential specialist concentrating on single-family homes, teardowns for land, condominiums and multifamily investment properties. Driven always to find solutions, she thrives on human interaction and promptly responding to clients’ needs. More than 80% of her business is from past clients and referrals.
Gracik lost her father to Alzheimer’s in 2013 and her mother to vascular dementia less than three years later, which drives her philanthropy with the Alzheimer’s Association. Professionally, she has sharpened her skills in assisting senior citizens ready to sell. Many families trust her to help their parents, since she was recently in their shoes and understands the challenges that aging brings to the process.
In her free time, Gracik is passionate about keeping life in balance through yoga, long walks and her faith.
