Katie LeGrand, a broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, joined the industry with more than a decade of experience curating and growing relationships with Fortune 500 and startup businesses. A high-performing sales and marketing leader who always found purpose in helping her customers, she transitioned well into real estate. “I have found a lot of my corporate knowledge to be strongly transferable to real estate,” says LeGrand, who completed a variety of special training centered around negotiation throughout her career. Indeed, LeGrand has doubled her business in her second year on the job.
LeGrand works with clients in the city and suburbs, from first-time to luxury buyers and investors. “I treat every transaction with the same care and thoughtfulness as if it were my own,” she says. She has the ability to connect with people and understand their needs. “I am so inspired by every one of my clients, and for different reasons. They push me to be better without even knowing it.” As a resident of Logan Square, LeGrand knows the ins and outs of each city neighborhood and enjoys helping clients understand the benefits they have to offer. Raised in Glenview, she also enjoys helping families transition from the city to the suburbs.
Not afraid to get scrappy searching with investors for rehab opportunities, LeGrand has experience in multifamily and hospitality properties. Her business has given her familiarity with new construction and development, as well as with rentals, where her experience as a landlord lends itself well to helping tenants and landlords.
Coming from a family of artists, LeGrand has an eye for interior design that is useful when helping clients prepare their homes for sale or selecting finishes on new construction or renovation projects. As a hobby, she loves photography and has a strong appreciation for the importance of photos when it comes to marketing homes for sale.
A new mom, LeGrand enjoys spending time with her 8-month-old daughter, husband and rescue pup.
