Christine Egley-Rashkow, Real Estate Professional

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

With firsthand experience in construction and home renovation, Christine Egley-Rashkow offers a unique viewpoint for her clients. “After building a home in Highland Park, I truly understand the intricacies of the construction, rehabbing and design process from start to finish,” she says. “Going through that process was invaluable and helped guide me into the luxury and new construction arena that I specialize in now.”

Egley-Rashkow, who has been a Realtor for 14 years, focuses primarily on the Lincoln Park, North Center, Logan Square and Old Town neighborhoods as well as Chicagoland’s North Shore. With her deep understanding of current market trends and schools, clients often look to her for guidance when selling or purchasing a home. “Geographic trends and schools are crucial factors to consider for resale potential in the future,” Egley-Rashkow says.

Entrepreneurial by nature, Egley-Rashkow was a founding partner of a health care recruiting firm before becoming a real estate professional. The demanding nature of health care, along with the expertise she gained in putting together employment opportunities for doctors, physician assistants, therapists and other providers, gives her a keen edge when negotiating offers between homebuyers and sellers.

Egley-Rashkow’s entrepreneurial and negotiation skills have also helped her in an exciting new project in Logan Square. In partnership with Karli Mayher of KJM Development and Kelsey Mayher of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Egley-Rashkow has already sold more than 50 percent of the McLean Collection, which offers a unique design to investors. “It has a spectacular floorplan with a modern farmhouse feel, and I think we will see KJM Development continue to prosper throughout the city,” she says.

In her downtime, Egley-Rashkow enjoys snow skiing, dancing and physical fitness. She is also actively involved with the Catherine Cook School, which her daughter attends, as well as a number of fundraising initiatives, including food drives for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
