Lindsey Schendel, Broker

Main Street Real Estate Group

A top-producing agent within Main Street Real Estate Group and immediate past chair of the Chicago Association of Realtors Young Professional Network, broker Lindsey Schendel has made it this far by being proactive. Working with sellers, buyers, investors and renters in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs since 2012, she knows what her clients need before they even realize it and always stays a few steps ahead.

“While the majority of my business are local clients, I also work with a lot of out-of-state buyers and sellers, which forces me to be their eyes and ears on their transactions,” she says. “I will stop at nothing to make sure all their needs are met. I’ve shoveled outdoor spaces and driveways after a foot of snow has fallen. I stage empty listings with my own furniture, host FaceTime showings and more.”
Success didn’t happen overnight. It took time and lots of hard work for Schendel to break out in the business and become the top producer she is today. “I have always thrived to be successful and challenged myself to grow my business every year. Now I am a well-oiled machine that stays organized to a fault,” she says. Having doubled her sales in 2017, she is determined to continue her success while pursuing new hobbies, including tennis. “Until recently I had never picked up a racket and now I can’t put one down,” she says. “It has become a stress reliever, as well as a great workout that I never knew existed.”

Schendel’s role as chair of the Chicago Association of Realtors Young Professional Network led to a fulfilling experience, carrying out a fundraiser that had members building brand-new furniture that was donated to 20 families who were recently housed after being homeless for years. In her free time, Schendel is involved with the From Now On Foundation, an organization that aids grieving children by designing and creating a special space for them inside their homes.
