On Sept. 22, the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) held its 140th Inaugural Gala, installing the new board of directors and honoring various REALTOR® Award winners. Drussy Hernandez, of Coldwell Banker Realty, was installed as the new president with Sarah Ware, of Ware Realty Group, becoming the immediate past president. Erika Villegas, of RE/MAX in the Village, stepped up as president-elect and Lutalo McGee, of Ani Real Estate, as the new treasurer.
Additionally, Past President Antje Gehrken, of A.R.E. Partners, earned the REALTOR® of the Year Award and Past President Marion Valle, of Valle Realty. was inducted into the CAR Hall of Fame.
