What is your favorite free-time activity? Spending time with my wife and
two sons.

How did you learn the business? Working for the developer mentioned
above and constantly going to as much training as humanly possible to sharpen my skills.

What was your most difficult sale, and how did you succeed?
Convincing a developer he needed to lower his prices by almost $10 million
in order to sell his units. I gave him massive amounts of data and walked him through the market.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Continuing to grow my
business, especially in this market.

What was your worst job, and what did you learn from it? I worked for
a landscaping company in college. Incredibly hard work, hot weather, etc. But I learned the meaning of hard work and developed skills so I wouldn’t have to do hard labor as a career.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I am involved in neighborhood community organizations, specifically the West Loop Gate Community Organization since I do most of my business there.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Consistently being in the top 1 percent of Realtors for the last four years. Or being the sales manager of a $100 million project and effectively selling out in a year.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? John Maxwell’s “Failing Forward.” John Maxwell is an incredible expert on leadership.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? The Wrigley building on Michigan.

What kind of car do you drive? Volvo XC 90.

BlackBerry, iPhone or paper? Palm.

What is your favorite city after Chicago? San Francisco.

What is your personal motto? Work hard, be honest, clients come first.
