Does your office have any specialties? As a medium-size company with two offices, our specialty is giving our agents a lot of independence, while also providing them with all of the resources of a large firm. What kind of marketing assistance do you provide? We provide a comprehensive marketing plan to all of our agents. This includes expert photography, professionally printed brochures, sign installation, unique property domains, e-mail marketing, MLS input, mailings, Craigslist auto-posting, enhanced listings on Realtor.com and out-listing syndication to many real estate websites.
Do you hold regular meetings? We hold company-wide meetings twice a month. Attendance is not mandatory, but encouraged, as they are educational and an opportunity to collaborate.
How do you get new agents acclimated to the company? We welcome our new agents with a thorough overview of the tools we provide, such as our website’s cutting-edge lead generation and management system, our sophisticated company intranet with integrated e-mail and document storage and our comprehensive showing appointment system. They’ll be introduced to our full-time support staff, including our in-house marketing coordinator and our listings coordinator, who takes care of every listing from input to contract.

What was your history before being a managing broker? I was a Realtor for Jameson Realty Group for 10 years prior to joining Prairie Shore Properties as a managing broker.
What do you like most about the neighborhood where you work? Northcenter is in the middle of it all. We have a fabulous Chamber of Commerce that plans fun events throughout the year, a fantastic public school district and great shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Best of all, we have ample parking right in front of our sunny, modern storefront office.
What is your favorite part about being a managing broker? I love helping my agents on listing appointments. I feel a tremendous amount of accomplishment when I can help “get the deal done.”
