Never judge people in the situation, just evaluate the situation. Evaluations create solutions, judgments are dead ends.

How many full-time agents are in your office?
Does your office have any specialties? MetroPro was founded in 1999, and quickly grew to be one of the largest independent real estate brokerages on the South Side of Chicago. This success was founded on well-trained agents, creative marketing and in-house design services for our clients. The staging and design ensures that our agents’ listings are at the top of buyer’s lists because they show well and are in move-in condition.
What kind of marketing assistance do you provide? We have great office support – our staff includes a receptionist, office manager, graphic designer and floor plan creator. MetroPro provides all advertising, brochures, e-fliers, postcards, property signage and office needs to their agents. Agents do their own MLS submissions and can opt to do their own web enhancements, or the staff can do it for them. MetroPro also offers sellers staging services, which helps our agents sell their listings.
What kind of training do you provide? We offer excellent group and one-on-one training on all real estate matters ranging from legal issues, negotiation skills and building successful client relationships to the nuts and bolts of simply getting the deal done. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit team and a very well-trained and diverse office.
About You — Donna Marie Schwan
What makes you different than any other managing broker? I have a real sense of humor. I believe that the role of the managing broker is that of a confidant. I pride myself on my accessibility and the care and effort I put into every single agent in my office.
What is your favorite part about being a managing broker? I love training and teaching people to use the rules of our profession, as well as helping them achieve their professional goals and make more money. A good managing broker helps people understand and handle the responsibility of helping clients with the largest purchase of their lives.
Why do you love real estate? I love it because I get to work with diverse and interesting people. Real estate is never boring!
