Does your office have any specialties? We are the most prominently located Lincoln Park real estate office, enjoying an ideal location by the park and the lake with easy access to the Gold Coast. Our office is the market leader for single-family homes in Lincoln Park.
What do you expect of your agents? I expect that agents come to the office ready for success and that they are willing to learn and work hard to accomplish their goals. I expect that agents conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner and that they live up to the high standards of our company.
What kind of training do you provide? New and experienced agents have access to a broad spectrum of training and development opportunities. Koenig & Strey has a dedicated Agent Development Group of five people who conduct in-office sessions and webinars focused on technology tools and current real estate topics, as well as the ACE (Agent Career Enhancement) program that drills down into the fundamentals of the business. We hold hands-on workshops in the office and offer one-on-one coaching.

What makes you different than any other managing broker? I’ve walked in their shoes, and I’ve done it in the current market. I am well versed in residential sales, new construction, development and commercial property.
What was your history before being a managing broker? I’ve been in the real estate industry field for 22 years working with developers and representing both buyers and sellers.
What is your favorite part about being a managing broker? I work closely with my agents, coaching them on keeping a deal together and getting everyone across the finish line. I love creating an environment that fosters teamwork and high morale. I am privileged to work for a strong and financially stable company that is affiliated with HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway company.
Why do you love real estate? This is a muli-faceted industry, with many different avenues of the business and opportunities for success.
