As executive account manager for Greater Illinois Title Company since 2013, Sara O’Connor knows how to multitask and get the job done right. Whether it’s providing seminars for new real estate professionals or acquiring municipal transfer stamps so that an attorney saves valuable time, O’Connor takes a big-picture approach to each transaction. “Professionals know me to be a person of integrity, perseverance, compassion and diligence. I will do whatever it takes to be a partner in success,” she says.
Having worked in the banking industry for five years, O’Connor learned how to build long-term relationships with her customers. To pursue her passion for helping people grow their business, she decided to move into real estate. “I thrive on networking and having the capability to help others attract business opportunities, build their business and relationships, and then nourish and maintain those relationships,” O’Connor says.
O’Connor deals primarily with commercial and residential attorneys, commercial lenders, residential lenders and real estate professionals who represent sellers. For her efforts she has earned the President’s Multi-Million Dollar Sales Honors awarded by Greater Illinois Title Company. This year, she says her greatest accomplishment was working with several prestigious law firms that represent large commercial concerns, helping them to navigate and eventually close several complex sales transactions.
O’Connor is affiliate member of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors–Chicago. “In what seems to be a roller coaster of real estate activity, my membership and involvement in real estate affiliate activities has allowed me to continuously grow my business while networking and assisting my fellow colleagues and members to our mutual achievement,” she says.
