You could fill a trophy case with the awards John P. Noldan has racked up in his 15 years in the home lending industry. He’s been named Best in the Business by the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association, is a longstanding member of Guaranteed Rate’s Chairman’s Club and President’s Club, and is a fixture on the Scotsman’s Guide Top Originators List. In 2016 alone, Noldan closed over $167 million, 72 percent of which was home purchase business.

Noldan’s expertise on a wide range of mortgage products and programs reflects the diversity of his customer base: first-time home buyers, investment buyers, FHA loans, jumbo mortgages — the list goes on and on. Of course, you can’t build the type of success Noldan has just by knowing your stuff: he prides himself on his ability to convey his knowledge to clients in a friendly and easy-to-understand manner. “Clients describe me as always available, helpful in answering any questions thrown my way and explaining the answers in an easy to understand way,” Noldan says. “They always appreciate that our service is smooth and the customers are in the loop every step of the way, which makes the whole process seamless.” He also makes sure to be available for customers 24/7 to support them in any way possible, going so far as to open an office in his hometown of Elmhurst to better serve his clients there.

Thanks to his winning combination of expertise, patience and availability, Noldan has maintained long-term relationships with clients and agents, which has allowed him to grow an extensive referral network. “Each year I am in the business, I grow to love it more. I take genuine joy and happiness in helping people with the biggest purchase of their lives,” Noldan tells us.

Noldan is also committed to helping people outside of his work: he is a member of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Executive Boards of both Catholic Charities and Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
