For more than 21 years, William Hannah has put his expertise to work for clients in all types of complex homebuying situations. “I became a mortgage loan originator because I love helping customers achieve the dream of homeownership,” he says. His loyal clientele continues to send referrals long after they have moved into their homes. This, he says, is due to his commitment to studying the market, building up a deep knowledge of available loan products, and providing clients with straight answers. “I believe in having an honest dialogue with clients that discusses the pros and cons of every loan.”

Hannah spent his first several months in the industry studying to master the basics of lending before calling himself a mortgage loan officer. That diligence paid off. He ultimately surpassed his colleagues in loan volume, and soon established himself as a leader in loan origination. “I’ve been so blessed over the past two decades to have excelled in the various roles I’ve played, whether in frontline sales or mortgage operations,” he says. “I’ve had exposure to the inner workings of the industry, helping me to become a trusted mortgage advisor who both clients and Realtors count on to get the job done.”

At any given time, Hannah can be found working on a variety of customer loan requests. These requests may include construction loans, physician loans and many other types. He began working in specialties early in his career, focusing on self-employed and professional borrowers who sought jumbo mortgages. That, he says, differentiated him from other loan originators. Today, his specialties also include luxury, new construction, and physician loans.

Hannah enjoys working with Fifth Third Bank, where he’s built a career rooted in superior customer service, extensive experience, and a commitment to excellence. “It’s wonderful to have a fantastic line of products I’m proud to offer borrowers,” Hannah says, saying that it makes a difference in distinguishing both the company and himself in the industry. “I find real joy in helping people buy their dream home and seeing their excitement when they begin a new chapter in life, so I’m glad I took the time to understand how to originate the most simple to the most complex mortgage,” he adds. “Being a student of the industry has proven invaluable, and really made a difference in how I can impact people’s lives for the better.”
