For this mother-daughter team, real estate is in their DNA, spanning across three generations. While both Marlene Rubenstein and her daughter Dena Fox explored careers outside of real estate initially, the two eventually returned to their family roots and are now the successful Rubenstein Fox Team.

With Marlene’s experience in sales, public relations, and marketing, and Dena’s fresh generational perspective coupled with an investment banking, finance, and analytics background, the two balance each other’s skill sets to provide a well-rounded business approach that resonates with a broad audience of clients. From working with renters to first-time buyers to iconic luxury homes, Marlene and Dena’s expertise is expansive.

Unique to this duo is their collaboration in bridging the gap between two complementary markets: Dena manages their city business while Marlene’s focus is on the northern suburbs, with some crossover, of course. “By covering the city and suburbs, we are able to build long-standing relationships with our clients and serve all their needs at every stage of life,” says Dena.

The duo’s mantra is, “YES! Now let’s make it happen!” When working with buyers, the Rubenstein Fox Team map out the process in advance, so clients are fully prepared for what goes into purchasing a home. Through their responsiveness, accessibility and resourcefulness, Rubenstein and Fox ensure that their clients never miss an opportunity. When it comes to sellers, their multifaceted strategy typically sells the house before it ever goes on the market, often garnering multiple offers and above-industry-average list-to-sale price.

Outside of their real estate careers, giving back is a way of life for the Rubenstein Fox Team. You can find them actively engaged in philanthropy, including involvement with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (the two are first- and second-generation descendants of Holocaust survivors). Marlene and Dena are also founding members of the Women’s Board of the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois and the Associate Board for Housing Opportunities for Women, respectively.
