Growing up in his family’s restaurant business taught Mark Raffaelli to always put the customer first. “I learned to go above and beyond for our customers back then, and I bring that sense of customer service to my real estate business every day,” he says. “I believe that consistent focus on first-class customer service goes hand in hand with long-term success.” That philosophy brought him success quickly. The Chicago Association of Realtors named him Rookie of the Year when he first entered the profession, and to this day, he continues to rank among the organization’s top producers.

A Chicago native, Raffaelli’s love of the city’s architecture drew him to real estate after studying at Columbia College. His work in marketing and advertising prepared him to professionally promote the homes he lists. He aims to not only catch a potential buyer’s eye, but also helps his clients achieve the maximum return on their investment in as short a time as possible.

Raffaelli is an expert in the city’s micro markets, especially the West Loop and River North, where he
has resided for more than 15 years. His clients include motivated buyers and sellers as well as investors, the majority of whom look to him to help them determine property appreciation and depreciation. “That’s the primary issue of concern for my clients, and where I provide the most advice and counsel,” he explains. “As a standard practice, I perform due diligence regarding market trends and patterns, so that allows me to offer quality, data-driven investment advice to guide my clients’ ultimate decision.” As Raffaelli says, “I see my clients as real people who trust me to help them execute one of the largest financial transactions they’ll ever make, and I take that responsibility very seriously.”

A Lurie Children’s Hospital volunteer, Raffaelli is committed to giving back to the community and those who live within it. “Everyone has a story, and you get to hear many of them in this line of work,” he says. “The opportunity to meet and serve so many people as a Chicagoland Realtor is what inspires me.”
