After years as Coldwell Banker’s No. 1 producer at Lake Point Tower, powerhouse Denise Salazar opened a satellite office that caters to that icon of the Chicago skyline.

Much of her success is due to her innovations in listing and selling homes. She makes certain to stay ahead of market trends and helps clients strategize the best price point to ensure a return on investment. In addition, she works with a specialized marketing team to create influential collateral materials for her listings. She and her team are more in demand than ever, so she is also adding brokers to her staff who specialize in renters’ and buyers’ needs.

“I’m inspired when my clients and I reach their goals by working together as a team,” she says. “That’s when the power of collaboration makes a real difference.” Salazar’s hard work has earned her a business that’s 90 percent referral-based, and in 2015, Coldwell Banker recognized her with its International Sterling Award.

Her philosophy is “one size doesn’t fit all,” so Salazar customizes the plan of action she creates for each person she serves. “My experience affords me an edge in the competitive Chicagoland market because it allows me to be as dedicated and attentive to each client and each transaction as I can,” she explains.

A member of the National and Chicago Associations of Realtors, Salazar chairs the Lake Point Tower events commission, which allows her to give back to the community that has given her so much. Her family inspires her as she helps people achieve the American Dream of homeownership, an ideal she says is at the core of why she does what she does. “Success isn’t about how much money you make; it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives. I strive to make a difference that will have generational effects on my clients and their families.”
