Team Fallico – Dream Town Realty
Real estate is a family affair for father-son team Craig and Nick Fallico. They have partnered for the past four years, and Craig remembers his own father working as a Realtor during his childhood years, just like Nick recalls seeing him do the same. “Real estate is in our blood, and so is our passion to achieve winning results for our clients,” Nick says. Craig echoes this sentiment. “Success can only be measured by the fulfillment you get in caring for and helping others,” he says. “‘Live’ rhymes with ‘give’ for a reason – be a giver, not a taker.”
Craig started as a Realtor, teacher, and coach 35 years ago, and his life has exemplified that giving spirit. He began a teaching career in 1981, but looked for a way to earn extra income to help take care of his big family. His teaching background made it easy to explain the intricacies of buying and selling a home to clients through his brokerage, with his dad, at Fallico Real Estate. “My expertise is connecting with people and understanding what they want and need,” he says, pointing out the best approach is putting their needs ahead of his own. “You have control over two things – your attitude and your effort – so be positive, work tirelessly, and always care.” With thousands of happy clients and hundreds of millions of dollars in closed transactions in his career, Craig holds membership in multiple real estate affinity organizations, such as the National, Illinois, and Chicago Associations of Realtors. He has also been inducted in the Illinois Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame and Maine South Athletics Hall of Fame. He continues to volunteer with high school clubs and organizations.
A Michigan State University marketing major who was also a Division 1 scholarship athlete in wrestling, Nick graduated from Maine South High School in Park Ridge and still holds the school record for most wrestling wins. He specializes in listening to clients to truly understand what they need and want, so he can deliver accordingly. “My dad tells me that when your intentions are good, your business will be good – that is absolutely the truth. Our clients’ respect and trust are everything to us,” Nick explains. “I love what I do, so I never feel like I’m working.” Nick also supports local youth programs and serves as the head coach for a youth wrestling team. “I love giving back to the sport that gave me so much and I also donate to the organization to help keep the participation cost low for families.”
Craig thanks his tremendously supportive wife, five children, and four grandsons. They have kept him determined and joyful. Being bilingual, he aspires to visit every Spanish-speaking country in the world – he has traveled to 16 out of 21 thus far. Nick is grateful to his wife, Lindsay, and son, Noah, for continuously motivating him, and is happiest because he gets to share his professional accomplishments with the man who taught him everything he knows. “My father is my mentor and role model,” Nick says. “He never fails to inspire me, and he’s a big part of why Team Fallico is such a dynamic duo.”
