Nick Libert
Owner/Managing Broker
EXIT Strategy Realty
Nick Libert’s personal motto, “Work hard, play hard and improve lives every day,” is reflected in the energy and growth of his brokerage, EXIT Strategy Realty. Since opening in late 2009 with only eight agents, Libert’s office has expanded to more than 150 sales and leasing agents serving the entire Chicago market in residential, commercial and investment transactions.
Libert believes in leading by example, showing his agents how to drive a large volume of business through referrals through his own 17 years of experience as a top producer. More than 60 percent of his 2014 production of nearly $10.5 million was derived from personal referrals and social media, all while maintaining a brokerage operation that increased in size by 50 percent and closed more than 1,000 transactions in the past 12 months.
“I believe you have to give agents the tools to succeed,” he says. “We provide each agent a fully automated contact management and marketing system, as well as a digital marketing strategy for their listings. Not only are there consistent trainings on these systems, but our support staff is also able to customize and implement them for each agent at no charge.
“Further differentiating EXIT Strategy is the unique EXIT Formula, which gives 10 percent sponsorship bonuses to agents who help the company grow,” he explains. “In 2014 alone, EXIT Strategy agents received nearly $250,000 in residual bonuses from EXIT Realty International, giving the agents a true third income stream in addition to listings and sales.”
Libert’s office has also purchased a membership in a boat fleet, allowing them to entertain clients, top producers and rising stars on the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. This fall, the office will continue its expansion of boutique services with a moving van available to buyers and sellers who use EXIT Strategy agents.
“My end goal is to be the No. 1 EXIT Realty franchise in the U.S.,” says Libert, who holds undergraduate and law degrees from Valparaiso University. “I want to be able to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of Realtors across the Midwest.”
