Baird & Warner
If you’re going to be a rookie, be “Rookie of the Year,” and in both volume and units. Stephanie LoVerde was recognized as just that, not once, but twice in 2013 – first by the Chicago Association of Realtors and then by Baird & Warner.
It’s an understandable title for someone who closed $6.1 million in property and earned CAR’s top producer status in just her first year as an agent. LoVerde is a natural fit for the industry, though her path could have gone a different direction.
“My formal training is in counseling, but I still use what I learned in my masters studies on a daily basis,” she says. “Real estate is ultimately not about selling or buying; it’s about life and people, and that’s what I love.”
LoVerde utilizes her honest, transparent nature to connect with clients, and increases her breadth by working all over Chicago.
“I think it’s important to be well-versed in different neighborhoods in order to best counsel my sellers and buyers,” she says. “I especially enjoy helping my first-time homebuyers! We typically meet prior to any home shopping to review the purchase process and manage expectations. Educational components are so important, but are often overlooked.”
Looking to the future, LoVerde plans to stay true to her values and continue using technology and social media to build her business. After all, her goal is to become a powerhouse agent in Chicago, and it seems like she’s off to a great start.
