Whether she is selling a luxury property, finding development property for a builder, helping a first- time buyer, or facilitating a seller in a delicate situation, Lauren Goldberg is determined to fight hard for each of her clients. Goldberg is the founder and proprietor of The Elite Property Group, a team within @properties, that specializes in the luxury market, investments, rehabs/new construction and short sales. After living in Chicago and being active in the real estate/ construction industry for 11 years, she has expanded her expertise in finishes and detail, built relationships in the field and developed a strong knowledge of all the city’s neighborhoods. In addition, she has been married to her developer husband for eight years, often sharing expertise and services.
“My knowledge in design, construction, finish trade resources and development allows me to give guidance to my clients for construction projects and improvements,” she says. “I want to offer this advantage to my buyers who are often fearful of the cost of work. This service is also beneficial for sellers who often need to prepare their homes to list and investors looking to flip.”
Goldberg says that learning from a variety of transactions and being open to other’s opinions has contributed to her success. More than 75 percent of her business is referrals.
