David Cieslak’s impeccable taste and service is not only apparent when clients see some of his show-stopping listings, but also by his exclusive relationships with top Chicago agents and vendors.
As the owner and principal stylist of Signature Staging, Cieslak and his team work hard to stay on trend, adapt to market conditions and produce top-notch results. With staged listings selling in as little as two hours, his company’s teamwork approach with agents, homeowners and vendors has resulted in more than 95 percent of staged listings completed in 2013 going under contract/selling.
Education is a consistent thread in his business, whether he is learning of different ways to improve his business, or educating his peers, team and agents on the benefits of staging.
“Even in today’s exciting market, staging is still key for a great first impression,” he says. Cieslak is an affiliate member of Chicago Association of Realtors, and an active member of the Chicago chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association, which aims to not only educate Realtors, but also develop and mentor new and seasoned stagers.
Most recently, Signature Staging stepped outside Chicago, completing projects in New Buffalo, Mich., in addition to its several jobs in the city and ongoing projects in Lake Geneva, Wisc. It may sound stressful, but getting “in the trenches” will never tire Cieslak.
“Real estate and design are two passions of mine,” he says. “The best part after almost eight years of staging in Chicago is seeing our projects come together on install day and helping our clients move on to their next chapter.”
