Realty Executives Success

If you tell Jeff Gregory that it’s not likely he’ll succeed, more than likely, he will. That’s because Gregory focuses on finding the win-win in every situation, and uses his acute ability to foresee market trends to help him thrive when the going gets tough.

“2010 and 2011 were two of my best years in real estate, even though during both years, all the media could talk about was how awful the real estate market was,” he says. “I made it a point to anticipate where the market was going, and then took the necessary steps to be ready.”

2011 was also the year that Gregory was named REALTOR® of the Year and received the Presidential Medallion for Service from the president of the IllinoisAssociation of REALTORS®. Such service includes working for several years with the city of Joliet and their Neighborhood Stabilization Program, a program that has helped several millions of dollars be re-invested in Joliet’s real estate market.

Additionally, Gregory is current chairman of the board for Midwest Real Estate Data, and a member of the Three Rivers Association of REALTORS®, for which he served as president in 2008. He was also the chairman of IAR’s Professional Standards Committee in 2011 and 2012, and the chairman of its Political Fundraising Working Group in 2013.

“That work is so important because each of us has a voice regarding the future direction of our industry, and we need to make sure that our voices are heard,” Gregory says. “I may have three offices to manage (in Plainfield, Shorewood and Yorkville) and the greater Will County area to serve, but I’ve found that the busier you are, the more successful you become!”
