Marissa Stapleton knows a lot about buying, selling and relocating. She lived in about 18 cities while traveling internationally with her husband during his professional hockey career. Stapleton, a broker with Coldwell Banker Realty, specializes in Indiana lakefront properties.
Her 14 years of industry-specific expertise have equipped her with the confidence to successfully handle a variety of transactions. “My ability to navigate through challenging transactions while keeping both parties happy has been a key factor in my success,” she says. Stapleton is a recipient of Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Circle and International Diamond Society awards.
Despite numerous changes in the real estate market last year, Stapleton successfully maintained the same sales volume as in the previous year. “Adapting to this new environment required a shift in how I work, staying current with market demands and developing simple explanations for complex changes, all while preserving the integrity of the situation,” she says. “I am completely informed about the growth in my area and remain enthusiastic about developments in the Michigan City beach area.” With substantial local development underway, she stays engaged with the second home market and full-time residents. Leveraging her business connections in Chicago, where she has been licensed since 2007, she takes pleasure in introducing investors to this vibrant area.
Stapleton assists with organizing and decluttering, including furniture sales, as well as arranging outside contractors to facilitate the transaction. Her enthusiasm for the Michigan City beach town area, her personable nature and her meticulous attention to detail have made her a favorite among clients and peers.
Stapleton owns LMG INTERIOR, a boutique in the Uptown Arts District in Michigan City, with her friend and business partner, Line Mullins. Her favorite part about owning the shop, which has become a Michigan City favorite, is interacting with customers.
