Susan Panozzo and Maggie Yandel came to the Busby Group after spending time with other top teams and continued the trend of hard work, natural talent and drive, helping the Busby Group become a top 1% team according to the Chicago Association of Realtors.

While Panozzo is the go-to expert for several overseas investors with Chicago residential portfolios, she treats all of her clients as real estate investors. For buyers, this means using the data analysis skills she acquired while managing a multimillion-dollar fashion brand while in college; for sellers, it means ensuring they enjoy the maximum return possible on their investment. Panozzo provides every client with a detailed analysis of past, present and future market projections to ensure a strong investment. “Not a lot surprises me,” remarks Panozzo, reflecting on her 12-year career. “I am even-keeled throughout the process but can be a tough negotiator when the time comes.”

With a background in public relations and social media, Yandel is known by both her team and her clients as a talented communicator. Clear, concise and compelling is always the goal for her as she trains other team members on how to make the most out of showings, client meetings and communication with colleagues. Her abilities have also contributed to her success working with professional athletes (Busby Group is Chicago’s only SportStar Relocation team). “For me, not a lot changes, whether I am working with a famous basketball player or a local teacher,” says Yandel. “My service level is the same.”

As a result, nearly all of Busby Group’s business is referral-based. When they’re not working, both Panozzo and Yandel support Special Olympics Chicago and have done record-setting fundraising for the annual Chicago Polar Plunge.
