Patti Skirving’s personal knowledge of North Shore communities and above-and-beyond attitude have earned her a loyal client base built on trust and respect. The COMPASS real estate broker explains that her repeat clients appreciate her coolness under pressure. “I have represented buyers and sellers in all types of transactions: normal, extremely difficult, multiple offers, short sales and FSBOs,” she says. “I have successfully closed 100%!”

Backed by her experienced team, Skirving champions her clients. She’s been described as fiercely loyal and a born negotiator. “They love that I am their advocate from the minute we begin the process to beyond the closing,” she explains. “I am known for being conscientious, meticulous and superbly adept at reading my clients’ needs.” Clients also appreciate Skirving’s work ethic, specifically the way she goes beyond what’s expected. The North Shore community is important to Skirving. She moved to Kenilworth in 1990 and later to Winnetka, with her three children having attended schools in the Kenilworth, Winnetka and New Trier school systems. “I have lived on the North Shore for over 30 years and have been in real estate for over 26 years and continue to love living on the North Shore,” she explains. “I definitely can speak to the benefits and joys of owning a home on the North Shore!”

In her free time, Skirving can often be found on the golf course with friends or her husband and teammate, Greg. Athleticism runs in her family. Skirving’s father played college basketball, she and her children excelled in high school and collegiate sports and her granddaughter was just named MVP of her basketball team. Skirving sees a parallel between the discipline and drive needed to thrive in sports and real estate.
