Known for their energetic and stylish approach, Jim Abbott and Lory Attolico of the Abbott Group offer their clients a bespoke homebuying experience. They work with everyone from first-time homebuyers to people buying and selling second and third homes.

Attolico often works with families, while Abbott works with a wide range of buyers and sellers, locally and internationally. Abbott, an avid traveler who’s visited over 40 countries, is a Global Certified Relocation Specialist and enjoys helping people from other countries find homes. “Plus,” he shares, “I think Chicago is one of the best cities in the world and I love to show it off.”
Abbott and Attolico both grew up in Chicagoland neighborhoods. “I loved growing up in Deerfield,” Attolico explains, “so moving back there to raise my family was just natural.” Abbott grew up on the North Side and has moved around the area no fewer than 15 times. The dynamic team brings a wealth of market knowledge to their business, meaning they are experts at matching buyers with neighborhoods that meet their needs and complement their lifestyles. “We know so many markets,” Attolico shares. “Many times we match [clients] with a market they never even thought of.” The Abbott Group’s “concierge-style” service appeals to their loyal clientele. Ninety-five percent of their business comes from referrals, and Abbott Group agents consistently rank in the top 1% at Baird and Warner.
In their free time, Abbott and Attolico stay busy volunteering and pursuing hobbies. Abbott enjoys traveling with his husband and their rescue dogs. He’s also garnered a following on social media where he shares business-related and personal content. “I’m an open book,” he explains. Attolico is deeply involved in the lives of her children and serves on the PTO at their school. She can often be found playing with them at her local park in Deerfield or playing pickleball with friends.
