Mainstreet REALTORS® installed Kinga Korpacz as its 105th president, along with its new board of directors, at its annual installation ceremony on Sept. 9. Korpacz succeeds Connie Vavra, who served as Mainstreet’s 2024–2025 president.
Korpacz, broker/owner of EXIT Realty Redefined in Rolling Meadows and Hickory Hills, brings more than 24 years of real estate experience, a strong record of advocacy and a passion for mentorship and community leadership to her role, Mainstreet said. She has earned numerous professional certifications and currently serves as chair of the Illinois REALTORS® Governmental Affairs Committee and Mainstreet Federal Political Coordinator.
A proud Polish immigrant, she came to the United States at age 13. Korpacz’s swearing-in was marked by a full-circle moment, as Judge Jennie Giambastiani — who years ago oversaw her immigration case — returned to officially administer her oath of office. Korpacz is the first Polish immigrant woman to serve in this role.
“Tonight, as I stand before you, I am overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and joy,” Korpacz said. “My journey from a young immigrant girl from Poland to president of Mainstreet REALTORS® is proof that dreams do not have borders. With determination, faith and the support of community, anything is possible.”
