Gothic Revival, bayou charm

by Emily Mack

A designated landmark, this New Orleans structure is a prime example of the South’s famous Gothic Revival architecture. The former church, built in 1903, served the Grace United Methodist congregation for almost 90 years. More recently, it’s undergone a residential transformation, adding five bedrooms and five bathrooms while retaining the open floor plan and colorful stained-glass windows.

It’s listed by Aaron Dare of Crane Real Estate Brokers for about $1.25 million.
