Just in time for Christmas, Santa’s North Pole cabin listing is back on Zillow, and this year it boasts a new “Let Santa Know You Moved” feature.
Families can now notify Santa of their new addresses and claim their homes on the real estate listing website so the big guy knows exactly where to deliver gifts. Once received, a digital confirmation is sent to quell any anxieties children may have.
“Celebrating the holidays in a new home is exciting, but can also be overwhelming,” said Amanda Pendleton, Zillow’s home trends expert. “At Zillow, we know moving is hard and we’re always building tools to help make that process less stressful. We also know parents, in particular, take on more stress in a move, which can be compounded by holiday pressures. When families can share their new address with Santa, they can bring some comfort to children during a period of change.”

Viewed more than 3 million times, just like years past, families can take a virtual 3D tour of the Clauses’ North Pole cabin through an AI-powered interactive floor plan. High-resolution images give families an inside look at exclusive spaces within the home, including Santa’s mailroom, gift-wrapping suite, a custom elf door, naughty-or-nice detector and hot cocoa bar. There are also more than a dozen holiday items hidden throughout to make exploring even more festive.

Santa’s North Pole retreat cabin and state-of-the-art toy workshop are housed on 25 acres and were originally built in 1822, with renovations completed in 2013. The property also features stables for the reindeer and a detached garage for Santa’s sleigh.

Like homes across the country, Santa’s continues to increase in value, up 2% from last year to $1.2 million. According to Zillow, the company first calculated the one-of-a-kind property’s worth in 2016 and since then, the acreage alone has nearly doubled in value.
