On Sept. 20, the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) hosted its 141st Inaugural Gala at the Hilton Chicago. Over 350 people attended the event where CAR inducted its 2024–2025 Board of Directors, honored REALTOR® Award winners and celebrated the graduating Leadership Accelerator class.

CAR President Erika Villegas, of RE/MAX in the Village, technically took over the role in April, after Drussy Hernandez, of Coldwell Banker Realty, stepped down from the position. That move left Sarah Ware, of Ware Realty Group, as immediate past president. Meanwhile, the new president-elect is Lulato McGee, of Ani Real Estate. Vicky Silvano, of Real Broker LLC, was inducted as treasurer.
