What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Corporate credit analyst.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I talk to someone in my great circle of friends, family or my therapist until I feel better!

What is Chicago’s best-kept secret?
All the summer “freebies” we have to offer: music, art, movies.

What do you love most about the industry?
Having total autonomy. Being able to decide “if” a client is a good match for me to help ensures the service I provide will be my best.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I don’t ever need to do that. I am the only me in the business.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Forget everything you saw on reality TV!

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
All leads are not created equal. Think about the kind of leads you want to attract, and strategize a way to connect best with them. Be specific!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago?
The Tribune Tower.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I was bit by a colleague’s dog.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Making the decision to follow my heart and changing careers.

What’s your favorite meal in Chicago?
An Italian beef with cheese and hot giardiniera peppers or pizza with Italian beef and jalapeno peppers. Depends on the day … lol.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be?
Without a doubt, Jesus of Nazareth.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I sang the Star Spangled Banner at a few school events when I was younger.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Educating clients who have adapted unrealistic expectations.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Las Vegas. It’s the adult version of Disney World.
