Kale Realty will be volunteering with Share Our Spare (SOS) on May 9 — and is calling out for donated items.

SOS is a local non-profit that aims to make sure young Chicago children (aged up to five) have essential health and development items. Kale Realty will be taking part in the organization’s Sip and Sort event, checking, sorting and bundling the children’s items at the SOS headquarters, Sharehouse, in Old Irving Park.

Leading up to May 9, Kale Realty is hosting a drive to collect items for the children. Gently used donations can include children’s clothing, books or small gear items, like bassinets, Pack ‘n Plays, and strollers. Brand-new donations can include bottles, diapers, wipes or other baby hygiene items, like diaper rash creams, soaps and lotions.

You can drop off any of those items at the Kale Realty office at 2447 N. Ashland Ave. before May 9.

Those interested can also purchase items from this Amazon registry; the items will ship directly to SOS.
