RE/MAX Next has integrated into RE/MAX Premier, a union which leaves the firm as Chicago’s No. 1 RE/MAX agency based on combined sales.
Janice Corley, the CEO of RE/MAX Premier and new owner of RE/MAX Next, will lead the team of 150 real estate professionals total. Former RE/MAX Next owners Mike Opyd and Alejandro Trujillo are taking senior positions within RE/MAX Premier.
According to a press release, Corley, Opyd and Trujillo all believe this partnership will create unique value for agents at both companies. In particular, the move offers RE/MAX Premier a strategic foothold within the North Side.
RE/MAX Premier has offices in the neighborhoods of Gold Coast, Old Town and Hyde Park, while RE/MAX Next’s flagship location is in Lakeview.
