RE/MAX Legends acquires RE/MAX Central

by Emily Mack

RE/MAX Legends, which is headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, has acquired the Roselle-based firm RE/MAX Central.

RE/MAX Central has been in the area for more than 30 years, and the merger broadens RE/MAX Legends’ reach across Illinois. In addition, they conduct business in surrounding suburbs like Schaumburg, Streamwood, Bloomingdale, Itasca, Bartlett, Medinah, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Carol Stream, Rolling Meadows and Glendale Heights.

The new group joining RE/MAX Legends includes roughly 20 agents, some of whom are RE/MAX Hall-of-Famers and winners of the brand’s Diamond, Platinum and Titan Club Awards. Three support staff members are also making the transition. They will now be led by Designated Managing Broker Jaymi Block.

Reflecting on the merger in a press release, Block expressed her excitement. “This merger signifies more than a growth strategy; it is a commitment to enriching community ties and enhancing the scope of services offered to clients,” Block said. “RE/MAX Legends and RE/MAX Central are united in their vision to innovate and lead in the Chicagoland real estate market, promising exciting developments ahead.”

RE/MAX Legends will maintain the former RE/MAX Central’s Roselle location with plans for an extensive remodeling.
