Managing Broker of the Year, City: George Schultz Vice President of Brokerage Services, @properties

George Schultz is vice president of brokerage services/managing broker for @properties, the largest real estate brokerage firm in Chicagoland. He manages brokerage operations including recruitment, retention, training and sales for @properties’ offices in Chicago’s Bucktown and Logan Square neighborhoods. In addition, George oversees the growth of the firm’s Southwest Michigan offices in New Buffalo and St. Joseph, as well as the Northwest Indiana offices in Michigan City and Long Beach.

George joined @properties in 2002 as a founding agent, and took on a management role in 2008 with the opening of the firm’s Bucktown office. Over the years, he since grown the branch from 40 brokers to more than 300, generating over $1 billion in annual sales volume. Meanwhile, @properties’ New Buffalo and St. Joseph offices are currently the two highest-producing offices in Southwest Michigan by volume.

Throughout his career, George has served on the Chicago Association of REALTORS® board of directors, as well as on several association committees.

George has a bachelor’s degree in dramatic arts and history from Centre College in Kentucky, and a master’s in fine arts from Purdue University. He lives in Evanston with his wife Kristine, a successful REALTOR, and their two daughters, Macy and Stella.
